Half Acre Apple Orchard Profit Reported Near Lincoln County
Near Carrizozo New Mexico a half acre apple tract on railroad land yielded a net profit approaching two hundred dollars. Fred Plinger supervised farming and Peter Pfinger reported revenues of 193860 from fifty seven crowded trees after irrigation and packing costs totaling 7620. The crop fetched 270 dollars gross with 76.20 dollars in expenses, leaving about 200 dollars profit.
