Rev J A Scoggins Arrives to Lead Lovington Circuit

Rev J A Scoggins arrived from Clarendon Texas to take charge of the Methodist Church for the Lovington circuit. He will reside in the parsonage at Knowles and preach to residents of Knowles and Monument. Mrs Scoggins is a young minister new to the field. hear him next Sunday February 23 at 11 AM.

A. W. Roberts a veterinary from Lamesa Texas is in town today to assist with the ailments of county charges. Mr. Briggs and Mr. Watson arrived with 25,000 pounds of chamber for the then 1. O. O. FY hall on Wednesday.
