Ford Foundation Gains From Ford Stock Sale Plan
The Ford Foundation owns most Ford Motor Company voting stock and will receive the bulk of profits from the public sale while the Ford family retains control. The plan lets the foundation sell nonvoting stock and the family sell a majority of its voting stock, keeping 40 percent to maintain control. Also noted is a Lansing report on dining rooms declining in modern homes based on a five year Michigan State study.
