Santa Fé resident Blas Palma, sentenced from Mora county on April 29, 1914 to one and a half to two years for an attempted killing, was completely pardoned and restored to citizenship by Governor McDonald.
Captain Lewis S. Morey of the Tenth Cavalry, sole surviving officer of the U S engagement with Carranzista troops at Carrizal Chihuahua, arrived here en route to rejoin the Mexican field he commanded. He has been on sick leave recovering from a wound sustained in the fighting.

Report states Manuel Mera was struck by lightning at the Pina post office while requesting a letter and died instantly. The storm caused considerable damage as it swept over Taos County with widespread effects.
Miss Andrea Valenzuela accused of complicity in the Parker ranch murder near Hachita. She has been bound over to the grand jury without bond.
Mining merger advances in the Pinos Altos district nine miles north of Silver City. A corporation will acquire the Savanna Copper Company holdings, the C. Mining and Milling Company properties, the Silver Hill mine and other claims. The combined assets cover gold silver copper lead and zinc.
