Keeverman Businessmen Visit on Road Grading Plan

Keeverman business leaders from Plaggerman and Lake Arthur toured town and urged grading the sands road under the caprock to connect to railroad points. They circulated a petition with road commissioners and planned further visits to boost the project.

Tinner Man Coming to Lovington

In conversation with A C Yoachum, word that a tinsmith plans to relocate in Lovington after arriving on the next Midland freight. Yoachum has secured a shop site and a new enterprise for the town. A skilled shoe and harness repair man is also sought to establish here.

Celebration Marking 14th Anniversary of the Order in America

On Monday night April 23 at their hall local Illinois Fellows with the Williss ace chef present a 14th anniversary program. A nice program has been arranged and meals will be served. All anticipate a royal good time.

Mass Meeting Held in Livingston Crowded Services

Last Sunday night a mass meeting for the men of Livingston drew a crowded church. Rev. L. O. Cunningham called the meeting to order and a chairman, P. Slaves, was elected to preside. The notice lists a Pueblo saddle fob and asks return to F. J. Robinson at Bresau hardware store.

Levington Auto Co Drives Water Works Progress

The Levington Auto Co pushes the water works project this week with Slake and Mathis near completing the tower and Yoachum preparing ditches for pipe laying though some material delays slow progress. The town welcomes the system and all are glad to see rapid advancement.

Lovington Organizes Law and Order League Officers Elected

A Rev Cunningham led meeting to build morals in Lovington results in forming a Law and Order League. G W Blake is president P S Eaves vice president C L Creighton secretary and an executive committee includes J D Flatt F E Beckwith H J Garrard among others. A constitution and bylaws committee was appointed. A roll of attendees lists many local residents. A follow up meeting is set for next Sunday night at the Baptist church. Wesley McCallister and Mrs wdy Williams visited Roswell on Wednesday.
