Patrick McCall Wallen 34 of Hobbs was arrested January 24 on embezzlement and attempting to commit a felony. He was released March 1 on bond and pled not guilty to embezzlement and guilty to attempting to commit a felony. Count one was dismissed and a hearing will be set later. Arthur Scott 63 of Hobbs was arrested March 26 and released to a hospital. He pled guilty to aggravated battery and is now out.
