Phyllis Homer aged 30, a Lovington native and Loving ton High School graduate, died Wednesday in Dallas. A Braniff Air Lines stewardess for several years, she was the daughter of Mr and Mrs James Ek Homer. Funeral services are Saturday at 10 AM at Moore's Funeral Home in Arlington, with graveside rites at 4 PM in Hope Arkansas.

Collision Near Tinnie Kills Three Persons
Three people died and three were injured in a head on collision on SS 70 east of Tinnie. Hilario Salas Florencio Gonzales and Jim Rachel all of San Patricio were identified as victims. Salas drove a westbound truck crossing into the center line and hitting Rachel’s eastbound truck.

A one vehicle crash on Cemetery Road near Lovington injured three teen girls from Lovington. Anne Reagen, 16, sustained serious internal injuries and concussion after being ejected during a rollover. she was moved to a Lubbock hospital. Carolyn McGuire, 15, escaped with a knee injury and was treated locally. Pamela PradenCio, 16, suffered a possible back injury and remained in Lovington General Hospital.
