They are second year ag student Lionel Burns and third year student John Flores. One hundred twenty four members will attend the conclave representing 34 New Mexico chapters. Seventy eight will board Special Santa Fe chair cars at Clovis for the trip with 44 members and advisors driving by car.

Henry Eaves Dies At 75 In Lovington Native and Rancher Passes After Long Board
Henry R. Eaves, 75, a Lovington pioneer and long time rancher, died at Presbyterian Hospital in Albuquerque after 15 days confinement. Funeral services were held at Smith Yarbro Chapel with William M. Beauchamp officiating. Burial followed in Lovington Cemetery. Eaves, born September 14, 1888 in Hill County Texas, helped form Lea County with his late father P. S. Eaves. He moved to Lovington in 1901, survived by four daughters, a sister, a brother, five grandsons and two granddaughters. His wife Barbara died in 1954.
