Kurt Barry Sumruld, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Sumruld of Lovington, was sent to Colorado specialists for congenital heart disease. He was born September 18, 1965 and is scheduled for extensive tests and treatment at the University of Colorado Medical Center in Denver. Grandparents in Lovington and Roswell reported no word yet.

Roberts Funeral Set For Today
Funeral services for Mrs. Clara Mirth Roberts will be held at 3:00 p.m. in the First Methodist Church with Rev. Joe Emanuel presiding. Burial follows at Lovington cemetery. Mrs. Roberts lived in Lovington 55 years and died Sunday at 121 East Jefferson. She widow of Luke Roberts, a Eastern Star and Rebekah member. Born in Regon Texas on September 28 1879 she leaves one daughter Mrs. John Waits one brother Claude L. Creighton two grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Memorials may be made to the Methodist Church or flowers.
