Lovington Commissioners Mull Over Budget Increase

He had been jailed for DWI and revoked license offenses with an 18 month sentence and now faces an escape charge with a $2000 bond. Baker had served about ten months prior to his escape.

Lovington Woman Injured in Odessa Car Crash
Mrs. Janie LeMond of Lovington was injured in a two car collision at the intersection of 42nd Street and Andrews Highway in Odessa. She, her child Ronnie Lynn and a sister suffered injuries. LeMond has multiple broken bones and internal bleeding while the child and sister sustained bruises, with the baby not seriously hurt.
