Seven Burned In Butane Fire At Depot Near City
Seven persons were critically burned and four reported missing after an explosion touched off a fire at a butane gas tank depot on the edge of Mexico City Friday night. The blaze raged two hours in an industrial area along the Mexico City Laredo highway with flames reaching up to 200 feet. The depot housed more than 100 tanks of gas for homes and businesses. Seven trucks were destroyed and 15 other vehicles badly damaged in the conflagration.
