Two men died in separate accidents Tuesday raising New Mexico’s traffic toll to 110 for the year. Percy Ray Zumwalt, 30, of East St. Louis, died when his car side-swiped a gasoline tanker on US 66 west of Santa Rosa. the truck driver, C. H. Rowland of Tucumcari, was uninjured. Freddie M. Mitchell, 31, of Portales died when a pickup overturned south of Portales on NM 18. the driver, Joe McBridge, 37, also of Portales, lost control.
