Break-In Attempt by Two Oklahoma Men Fails at Farr's Grocery
Two young Oklahoma men pled guilty to break in after being caught inside Farr's Grocery on Main Street Lovington. Jerry Don Gibson 21 of Durant and Johnny Ray Gibson 19 of Duncan were jailed on $1000 bonds after a night watchman found them in a broken window entry at 10 55 p.m. Police found pennies, a radio and a clock taken from shelves. The men said they were brothers and had recently moved to Lovington and taken a local job. They appeared before Justice Reese Greaves and await district court action.
