Bison Air Sold to Holding Company in Roswell

A Lovington campaign kicks off to raise funds for the Conquisador Council Boy Scouts of America. About 135 volunteers will call on five donors each to reach the remaining 16 000 toward a 91 575 goal across six New Mexico counties and one in Texas.

Rusk Presses Dobrynin on Release of U.S. Airmen

Secretary of State Dean Rusk urged Soviet ambassador Anotoly Dobrynin to confirm the imminent release of two U.S. airmen held in East Germany. A State Department spokesman said Dobrynin had no new information and repeated that the airmen would be freed very soon amid a minor delay. The airmen parachuted to safety after an RB66 was shot down over East Germany on March 10.
