FDA Warns Faulty Syringes Risk Insulin Shock
The FDA warned that Syringes Inc. of East Rutherford New Jersey shipped two cubic centimeter syringes that may be miscalibrated and cause a double insulin dose. Lovington High School government classes will conduct a census Monday and Tuesday. Parents or guardians must provide child name, address, birthdate, current age, and any physical defects for children five by January 1, or six by January 1, and for all unmarried, non attending students under eighteen. Hit And Run Driver Caught After Wreck
A 57 year old Lovington man Melvin T Harris was charged with reckless driving leaving the scene and no license after an accident at Second and Jefferson in Lovington around 4 p m. He was arrested at his home about an hour later with a $200 bond. Diamond Thompson 52 of 1206 West Madison drove a 1959 Plymouth in the crash causing about 175 in damage. Harris 1950 Chevy pickup about 200 damage.
