Two top Vietnamese army commanders are missing and feared dead or captured after a Communist mortar ambush outside Quang Tri. They were in an armored carrier leaving the capital in a column attempting to halt the rebel advance.

He urges German purchase of British goods to offset BAOR costs, cites annual UK-Troop upkeep of 238 to 252 million dollars with Germany buying about 70 million in British goods.
