Mrs Dora Jackson and her 10 year old daughter Carolyn Ann were treated at Lea General Hospital after a car accident three miles south of Lovington on Wednesday evening. Also in the collision were West Jackson and Miles R Baker 22 of 717 W Taylor Baker suffered cuts and bruises while Carolyn Ann was ejected from the car. Investigating state patrolman M L West said Mrs Jackson had taken her daughter to a drive in movie and began a U turn when broadside struck by Bakers Ford. No charges filed pending full inquiry. Ford sustained about 750 damage and the DeSoto was totaled.
