US claims probable MIG21 destruction over Laos and Laos-North Vietnam air battles
The U S Command reports a probable North Vietnamese MIG21 kill after a dogfight along the Laotian border. Two pilots saw a missile explode and radar tape evaluation may confirm the third MIG21 shot down since January 19. Additional air strikes hit North Vietnam and B52 raids continued over central highlands.
