Fair Booth Drawing Set for 1959 Lea County Fair

Concession booth drawing will be held on July 23 for the Lea County Fair. Entry submissions should go to the County Agents office or P O Box 4 Levington. Booth rates are 73 dollars inside the fair building and 50 outside. Allied groups under one civic organization count as one. Last year’s concession booths holders are not eligible.

Youth Led Revival Planned at First Baptist Lovington

Rev Lonnie Kliever arrives August 9 to lead a youth led revival at First Baptist Lovington with singing by Britton Wood of Fort Worth. Kliever, a noted Texas youth evangelist, studied at Union Theological Seminary and has spoken at Louisiana College Howard Payne College UT Austin and the University of Richmond. He has served as summer pastor at El Paso First Baptist and directed Baptist Student work at Texas.
