United Press International reports two deaths in separate New Mexico crashes raising the 1973 toll to 249. A 22 year old Albuquerque woman Willeen A Jacobsen and 11 year old Stephen A Granaas died in a head on collision on U S 66 four miles east of Albuquerque. The other vehicle’s driver Gwen Prather 25 of Albuquerque was hospitalized in critical condition. Two other occupants in the second car suffered minor injuries.
