Farmington Youth Shot in Accidental Rifle Incident
A four year old Farmington boy, Eddie Stock, was critically injured by an accidental .22 rifle discharge at the family home. Police believe the weapon was fired by his six year old brother while the mother was away. The Stock family, residents of Farmington, were notified of his serious condition today.

Alamagordo reporters say Air Force Cambridge Research Laboratories plan a Monday test of a giant 26 million cubic foot balloon at Holloman AFB New Mexico. The 815 foot high balloon will lift a Voyager capsule mockup to study maneuverability and launch methods ahead of Mars landings planned for 1973 with further tests at Roswell and Holloman.

FPC Orders Extra Caution During Heat Wave
