Mrs Lois Marie Jones 75 of 825 West Taylor Lovington passed away Tuesday just before noon after a sudden illness. She and her late husband John Delacy Jones opened a hardware store in Lovington in 1948 operating until 1959. She is survived by two sons Wayne and Dennis, two sisters Lillie Patterson and Wilma Mears, nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Funeral services Thursday at 10:30 at Jackson Avenue Baptist Church with Rev Lavern Lang and Rev Joe Vernon officiating. Interment in Lovington Cemetery under Smith Rogers Funeral Home care.
