Jet pilot parachutes to safety as plane crashes near Utica
A 28 year old California Air Force pilot Lieutenant Richard Robbins parachuted to safety before his jet crashed into a partly built house near Utica Michigan. Robbins landed two miles from the crash site after his plane struck the house demolishing it. Thirty rockets were aboard twenty of which were recovered from a corn field search continues for four missing rockets. No occupants were in the house at impact.
