Evalina Parson 53, a former Lovington resident and widow of Festus L. Parson, died Tuesday night in Plains Memorial Hospital Dimmitt Texas after a long illness. She moved to Texas after her husband’s death in 1969 and is survived by daughter Viola Hughes Hood River Oregon son Charles David US Army Ft. Sill Oklahoma parents Ellis and (Mrs) Wilson Arlie Texas sisters Ruth Parson Dimmitt Texas Nita Holly Artesia New Mexico brothers Bert Wilson Burleson Texas R D Wilson Poway California and four grandchildren. Her remains return to Lovington for funeral services and burial announced later by Smith Rogers Funeral Home.
