25 Die In Airliner Crash On Mount Renoso

Woman Hurt In Accident In Lovington Two Car Crash Injures Lola Youngblood
A Lovington woman Lola A. Youngblood was hospitalized Monday after a two car collision at North and Monroe Streets. She suffered a broken left ankle and was to undergo surgery to place pins. The other driver was Edwin Buck Collum Jr. of 1201 West Gore. Vehicle damage was estimated at about $500.

Corbie LeRoy Williams, 39, of Lake Charles Louisiana, arrested in Tatum for passing a worthless $55.18 check at Davis Food Store. He was arraigned before Justice Virginia Pier and jailed in Lea County on a $1,000 bond.
