Three Juveniles Charged In Theft At Vacant Home
Three Lovington youths aged 13 11 and 9 were picked up by prenile officer Les Villers and charged with theft. They allegedly stole a bed mattress and four window panes from a vacated house at Second St and Ave D. All were in custody for three days and due for release at 4 PM today.

Man and Wife Charged in Lovington DWI Case
Mrs. James Leon Rushing 39 of 808 South Third St. Lovington was charged with DWI and resisting arrest in city court. She pleaded guilty to resisting arrest and was fined 50 dollars, while her DWI plea was not guilty with bond set at 200 dollars. Her husband James Rushing 32 was arrested for being drunk, pled guilty, and paid a 25 dollar fine. Earlier this week Jim Evans and Arlie Hopkins were fined for related offenses.
