Department of Finance and Administration Director Vincent Montoya says state income for the current fiscal year will total 454.4 million, an 11.2 percent rise from last year, with November income at 30.1 million up 16.1 percent. He detailed upward revisions since July and projected 510.3 million for next year, as the LFC reviews the revenue forecast for the 1976 legislature. The DFA also estimates 50.6 million available for appropriation for 1976-77, including a 33.7 million cash balance, versus 16.8 million for 1975.
Midland special Tipperary Corporation reports record operating revenues of 13.24 million and net income of 8.0 million for the year ended September 30 1975. Earnings include 0.72 per share operating and 2.19 per share net. Gains reflect petroleum chemical and LPG divisions plus equity earnings.
Lea County commissioners approve Jimmy Franklin to expand residential space at Lovington Lea County Airport. Franklin, now married to Audean Davis and living with his brother Steve and Mrs. Davis' son Troy, seeks to partition the lobby to add a bedroom. Further expansion and office changes are slated for review next year.
Funeral services for Mrs. Donnie Lee Love 60 wife of Herbert Love and Lovington resident of 22 years were held today at 2 at Lovington Cemetery. She died Sunday at home after a long illness born June 29 1915 in Cottonwood Texas married February 13 1931 in Abilene Texas. The Love family moved to Lovington in 1953 and ran Love's Boot Shop at 600 West Avenue D until retirement. Survived by husband two sons Neil and Jerry two daughters Janet Gail and Melba nine grandchildren and one great grandchild. Reverends Crabtree and Burnside officiated.
United Press International reports a warm day and night with light to moderate west winds. A Wednesday brought by increasing clouds and strong shifting winds to the north will turn colder. Lovington highs in the 60s and 70s with morning lows in the 20s to 40s.
