17 Year Old Girl Rescued From 40 Foot Park Water Tank
A Hobbs girl aged 17 climbed Chaparral Park’s 40 foot water tank and became stuck at the tapered top. Police and fire crews along with Lea County Electric staff arrived by 10 50 p m and assisted in the rescue. Arch Cunningham says neighbors watched as the teen slid toward the edge while unable to grab hold. Firefighters and officers, including Cpl Danny Surratt, helped bring her safely down.

Three Held In Drug Bust In Lovington
