Accidents Reported In Local City On Tuesday Evening
Police logged two crashes on Tuesday. At 3 38 p m a 1960 Chevrolet pickup driven by Hubert Maddox backed into a 1963 Cadillac driven by Craig Dollaham at Avenue C and South Main Street causing $20 to the Cadillac with no injuries. A second collision on the Wagon Wheel lot involved a 1963 Oldsmobile driven by Shawna Dickerson backing into a parked 1959 Chevrolet owned by Sherwin Lee causing $115 total damage with no injuries or citations.

New Mexico files complaint to block trucker rate raise
The New Mexico Corporation Commission filed a formal complaint against interstate truckers serving the state from Oklahoma Texas Arkansas Louisiana and parts of Mississippi River regions to block a blanket six percent rate increase on small shipments.
