Plan for Courthouse Park Beautification Presented
Bill Collins outlined Hidalgo County beautification plans for the lot south of the Courthouse during regular session Tuesday. Sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce and Economic Development, the project is to be part of a Lordsburg walking tour. The Commission agreed to proceed and discussed possibly including the P O W Monument. A committee will include Bill Collins and Commissioner Rice, with three more to be contacted.

Chip Sealing To Begin On Playas Road
Hamilton Construction Company of Silver City will move equipment onto the Playas Road site soon after being the low bidder for 10 miles to be chip sealed.
