Man Dies In Motorcycle Accident Near Lordsburg
Lester Le roy Belle of 1709 Olive Phoenix Arizona died after his motorcycle left the highway and struck an embankment seven miles east of Lordsburg early Saturday. He apparently fell asleep before the crash and died Saturday afternoon from a fractured skull. No witnesses were present and he wasn’t found until about four hours after the accident.

Guests were welcomed after dinner with vocal solos by Harry Rosenstein and Charles Crouch, plus quartet numbers from Mrs. Harald Scofield, Mrs. Thelma Ross, Sam Gass and Dr. C. B. Austin. A discussion covered street marking and house numbering in Lordsburg. Mr. Gass won a $5 prize and donated it to the Lions fund. Dr. C. B. Austin presented a diamond studded President's emblem button to President H. Veerle Payne.
