Fatal Auto Accident Near Granite Gap
A 1936 Plymouth driven by Hyman Fetterman of San Francisco crashed near Granite Gap injuring a young woman who died at DeMoss Hospital. Fetterman escaped serious injury and was taken to Lordsburg Hospital. The woman, identified as "Boots" by a hitchhiking autoist, wore a green riding outfit and rode with possible Culver City ties. Sheriff's office traced Fetterman and the victim’s whereabouts, with remains sent to Meather Mortuary and Culver City connections being explored.
