Buster Estrada scored the first touchdown, Porkey Martinez added the extra point, and Charl ey Winslow found Steve Harper for an 11 yard TD in the fourth. Danny Galvan earned offensive player, Rau Bellarano defensive player of the week. Mavericks return home Friday hosting Hot Springs Tigers at 8 p.m. Parents Night will be held with a halftime introduction.

Captain John K. Bradford, longtime commander of the Albuquerque district, retires October 31 after 32 years on the force. Bradford served in Lordsburg, Silver City, Las Cruces, and Albuquerque, led the southwestern district, was state police chief 1965-1967, and attended the FBI Academy. He and his wife Margaret have a son in the Air Force and a daughter in Chico, California.
