Lions Club Hosts First Master Key Ceremony in Lordsburg

The Lordsburg Lions Club celebrated its first Master Key as Lion P. M. brought in eleven new members. President Ross presided while Deputy Sheriff John Cavin led the membership drive. Dr. F E Vinson, former UT and Western Reserve president, was guest of honor and spoke of seeking a home in Lordsburg. Lieut Wright of Virden CCC also attended with a brisk performance.

Jones Hopes For Big Lordsburg Assay Plant

J J Jones aims to establish a fully home owned assay plant in Hidalgo county near the Rodriguez store on first street south of Railroad avenue. Dr Leake, an experienced assayer, joins him after long service at Hayden Hurley and with Chino Copper. The furnace began Tuesday and will process ore from the Lordsburg district as Tra L Wright of Silver City arranges ore sales.

Grazing District No 3 Rules and Conservation Provisions

Brigadier General Myers Visits Lordsburg Chamber of Commerce
