The United States Department of Agriculture notes mosquito eggs hatch in water and larvae breathe differently. Surface air tubes can be clogged by coal oil to kill some larvae, while Mansonia larvae draw air from water plants and require drainage. Chairman J. J. Baca of the State Coronation Commission visited Steins Monday to hear a removal petition against the PP agency from that station. Residents say the move would burden freight shippers and receivers. Attorney Norman Hall spoke for the company. J. G. Goodfellow testified for the removal supporters. Nile T. Numerous patients at Lordsburg Hospital are listed with injuries operations and recoveries. Mrs W N Stryack Venton California was treated after an automobile accident and left the hospital the next day. Miss Browne De La U underwent an appetite operation and left Thursday. Mrs Demetrio Ballejo had a major operation and is improving. Jose Gonzales recovering from an accident with minor bruises. Cordelia Augustine had tonsils removed and left next day. Hien Adkisson of Valedon admitted and died Thursday. Chandler Hill announces birth of Malcolm A Fielder weight 7½ pounds. Mrs Victoria Pollard Ft Huachuca treated for broken rib and discharged. Mrs R G Blair Stems received medical care and left. Miss Mary Elizabeth Wells tonsil surgery with discharge. Isaac Van Mater recovering from appendicitis. Lordsburg Woman's Club Hosts Faculty Reception

Lordsburg Woman's Club will entertain Lordsburg and Valedon School Faculties at Mrs. R. B. Ownby's home Monday at 4:00. The program includes piano solo by Mary Beth Jeffus, vocal duet by Christine Lovett and Louise Bail, reading by Alice Jones, and a vocal solo by Mrs. Sylvanus Moon. All members urged to attend.

Seventy Tons Mohair Shipped from Lordsburg in Large Sale

The Mohair warehouse reported seventy tons shipped via the Southern Pacific to eastern markets. The Co-Operative Association purchased the lot, totaling 138,290 pounds. Prices set at 35 cents per pound for kid hair and 15 cents for hair. Ree Croom of Virden district delivered the largest shipment at 10,506 pounds.

Greenlee County Fair Set for October 23 24

Greenlee County Fair will be held in Duncan Arizona on October 23 and 24 featuring agricultural and art exhibits a strong sports program rodeo bucking horses mules and roping events free for all prize money 410 each day pony and colt races roman races and a trapeze act promise top entertainment admission is 50 cents for adults and 25 cents for children with two afternoons of pleasure for attendees.

P. T. A. Meets Monday at High School Auditorium

The Parent-Teacher Association holds its second meeting Monday October 19 at the High School Auditorium. The Membership Committee led by Mrs Gauthier reports 175 members. Attendees should arrive by 4 PM for the program including a Pino Solo by Maxine Allen, Vocal Solo by Mrs Matthews, and a speech by day Phillips followed by a class speech.

Second Air Armada Comes To Lordsburg On Sunday

The Government Airport at Lordsburg hosted a major aviation display with 21 Army ships including four five‑flight groups and a giant tri motor transport weighing over five tons. Lt Weyland led the event with officers Lt Burwell Lt Lawson Lt Mollison and Lt Baxter directing the Ford tri motor transport carrying six cadets. Fifteen ships stayed overnight and local youths entertained the officers at the Hidalgo Hotel lounge, prompting praise for Lordsburg Airport and management.
