Public doubt grows over Lordsburg water quality after four of 39 weekly samples fail federal conformity tests since January. Health officials say no proven unsafe condition, urge continued consumption with caution while investigations reference sampling methods and past years’ results.
Cobre Indians routed the Mavericks 31 13 at home last Friday night. Leandro Castillo Dave Rich Ramon Nava and John Be led the defense and offense while Scotty Jones Ernesto Renteria and Hector Sanchez scored for Cobre. The defeat shaded by a large booster crowd sets up a Friday night rematch against the Wildcats at 7 30 p.m.

Parents of grade school students are invited and a booklet Intro To The New Mathematics For The Elementary School will be available. PTA membership cards will be sold.
