Perea Sentenced To One To Three Years In State Prison
Reynaldo Perea pleaded guilty to breaking and entering with intent to commit a felony and was sentenced to one to three years in state prison. He may serve the remaining two years of an earlier one to three year sentence and the two sentences could run consecutively. The burglary involved the Rich's Motor safe on November 15. Billy Flores, alleged accomplice, faces Juvenile Court action Friday. A stolen tire and wheel taken the same night is in Sheriff Hugh Pace custody and unclaimed items should be reported.

Suspect Held For Car Theft
Windell M. Turner, 19, was arrested Tuesday by Sheriff Hugh Pace and Deputy E. N. Jackson after a Tucson used car dealer reported a stolen vehicle Turner was driving. Turner had brought the car to Art Blanscot for repairs and attempted to cash a check. Blanscot's suspicions grew after Turner wired for money and a non-existent address was found. Turner is held awaiting a warrant and may be turned over to the FBI under the Dyer Act for transporting a stolen auto across state lines.

Lordsburg Chosen as Air Corridor for SAC Training
Strategic Air Command will fly low level training missions over Lordsburg New Mexico as part of seven corridor routes set by the FAA. General Thomas Power said B 47 B 52 and B 57 jets will operate at about 1000 feet above terrain in day and night missions to boost crew proficiency. The route runs from the Arizona New Mexico border near Summit to White Sands to Winslow and is designed to minimize noise while ensuring safety for residents.
