Amzie Thomas, 63, who had been living with Mr. and Mrs. 5. O. Hildahl, died Saturday morning. The funeral, preached by Rev. M. C. Moore, was held Saturday afternoon, with interment in Mountainview cemetery. He had long been a resident of the area and left many friends who regret his passing.

George R Hutchison known as Uncle George and an Indian War veteran died at Las Vemn New Mexico. Born September 19 1854 in Arkansas he moved with his family to Texas and traveled widely as a hunter freighter and militia member. He married Galdona Smyth and lived a long frontier life including San Angelo Fort McKavett Deming and Eddy now Carlsbad. His widow is cared for by local residents in Lordsburg.

PATAL AUTO ACCIDENT Kills Mrs Buell in Lordsburg Area
Mr and Mrs D A Buell of Long Beach California were driving toward Lordsburg when a rear tire burst on a freight truck encountered at Bepar. Their car swerved struck a telephone pole and Mrs Buell died instantly from a neck fracture. Mr Buell escaped with minor injuries. A coroner's jury ruled death an unavoidable accident.
