Raymond Hood Jr. Dies From Auto Crash Injuries
Raymond Hood Jr., 22, son of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Hood of Lordsburg, died Monday in St. Joseph's Hospital Albuquerque from injuries after a car left State Highway 400 near Fort Wingate October 24. He was alone, not found for some time, and had been in Universal Contracting Co. employment. A National Guard member since February 1963, he served as aircraft ground observer in C Battery Lordsburg and trained at Ft. Polk and Ft. Bliss. Rosary Friday at Heather Chapel, funeral Saturday at 9 am at St Joseph's Catholic Church.
