Christmas Seal Sale Begins Across New Mexico

The 1950 Christmas Seal Sale opens Monday November 20 with mail campaigns in all 32 counties. Campaign chair Luella Clark serves for the 12th year, joined by county president Jack Heather and secretary-treasurer Earle Kerr. Seals fund tuberculosis control through care, education, and rehabilitation, with 94 percent staying in New Mexico and six percent sent to the National Tuberculosis Association.

Miss Myra Kerr daughter of Mr and Mrs Elmer Aer was named Sun Princess at a November 10 drawing at the Chamber of Commerce rooms. Sponsored by the Lordsburg Elks Club she will represent Lordsburg at the 16th Annual Southwest Sun Carnival in El Paso on January 1, 1951. PTA Observes Parents Night At November 20 Meeting

PTA announces Parents Night at the regular meeting on Monday November 20. Grades will hold classes at 7 30 PM and the high school will host a citizenship program led by class officers.
