Rainbow Girls Hattie Martin and Edith White dined with Mr and Mrs Ibig before joining a gathering at Mrs Willis Lacy’s home with Ann Codding Pearl Bettyjeen June Clegg and Mrs Donnelly’s brother. Schroeter presented a hooked rug for the assembly. A Lordsburg trip is planned for November 21 with members traveling from Hurley Silver City and others. Library will close 5 to 6 for book inventory. all books due December 1939 and fines for unreturned items amount to 2 cents per day.

Directors Convene at Court House for Fair and Livestock Plans

The first model airplane contest will be held December first at 1 30 on the Duncan school ground. Three divisions exist rubber band models glider models and rubber models. Entries must reach general chairman by November 25 with no limit on the number of planes per entrant. Prizes will be awarded in each division.
