Bennie Dunagan reports the Modern Cafe fed 315 people in a five o clock to noon opening period. The staff include H A Stanley as day cook and Axel Petersen as pastry and night cook. Bennie is day manager with Walter in charge at night and Mrs Dunagan and Mrs Geraldine Duncan overseeing the tables and counter. The cafe is neat, sanitary, and running smoothly.
