Plans advance for ceremonial ground breaking of the Lordsburg Nursing Home this month. HADECO President Gilbert Buyens said a date will be set to fit Governor Bruce King’s schedule. Havens reported final arrangements secured and construction expected to last nine months. Four directors were reelected to two year terms: Harold Bishop, R. S. The Lordsburg economy remains stable over recent months according to New Mexico Business. Glenn Dorsett, manager of the Lordsburg Chamber of Commerce, cites $4 million in Interstate 10 construction and about $3 million more planned next year as indicators while bypass-related building will add 10 to 12 blocks south. Building permits for five months this year exceed 1970 figures.
