Bayard Judge To Preside In Lordsburg Bribery Case
Bayard Magistrate Y B Morales will preside over a Lordsburg bribery case involving two police officers Roy Patterson and Rita De La Garza. Assistant DA Ralph Ellinwood said hearing date not set. The officers were accused of asking youths for cases of beer in exchange for ignoring a minor traffic violation. They posted bond, returned to duty, then were suspended.
