BAD AUTO WRECK INJURES TOURING PARTY NEAR EAST
Robert EB Smith of San Francisco led a party returning from a New England tour when a tire blew out on his 1098 Pontiac causing the car to overturn three times. Passengers include Miss Thurman of London Eva Coulter Clara Munch Herman Lockman and Miss Sibyl Rice. They were taken to Lordaburg Hopkins Hospital where Rice was treated for a cut above the eye and Coulter for a broken right elbow. The car was damaged but no one severely hurt and the group continued by train.

Miner Loyal Marcoot Killed In Banner Mine Accident
Loyal A. Marcoot aged 28 died after an eighty foot fall at the Banner Mine where he had worked about two months. He left a wife and child and is survived by his parents and a brother in California. Funeral services were held at Heather Funeral Home with Rev. Bryan Hall officiating. Burial planned in Wilmington California.
