Man Killed In Fall From Train
The body of a Black man was found beside SP railroad tracks six miles east of Separ by railroad workers around 9 30 am Wednesday. He apparently fell from a westbound train during the night or early morning. The victim was tentatively identified as George Davis 1127 FE Jefferson Phoenix by Undersheriff Leroy McCarty. Description lists 49 years old 145 pounds and five feet four and a half inches. Justice of the Peace C L Brown will hold a coroner inquest Friday. McCarty continues attempts to complete identification.

Skeleton identified as Benjamin G Taylor of Jacksonville Florida
The Lordsburg New Mexico coroner's inquest ruled death unknown. A skeleton found near Lee's Peak on U S 80 was identified as Benjamin G Taylor, 48, of Jacksonville, Florida, by dental work and a fractured left forearm. State officer Joe Ortega testified the abandoned pickup linked to Taylor was found March 6, 1961, near the median fence west of Lordsburg. Taylor had left Florida after a quarrel and headed toward California. Mrs Taylor later claimed the vehicle. The inquest could not establish a cause of death.
