Lordsburg Council Rejects Gross Receipts Tax Amid Poll Pushback
Lordsburg city council vote was unanimous against a 0.25 percent gross receipts tax that could have yielded about $30,000. Mayor Ted White cited a May poll showing 116 opposed to 14 in favor.
