Jolly hunting trip ends with four point buck victory

Donald Johnson bagged a four point buck on a Burro mountains hunt with brothers and friends. The deer charged after being shot four times, wounding L B Robinson who fell twice. The hunters shared venison and noted Donald’s view over Lordsburg as eighteen thousand licenses issued statewide this season.

Weights range from 380 to 400 pounds for calves and yearlings average about 80 dollars. Natural Gas System Installation Underway in El Paso

Work on the city natural gas system started Saturday and is led by P L Grattan of Border Plumbing Company. Engineers HJ Forward and Headman Perguson prepared the project with city council support. Contractors anticipate 120 days to completion with gas connections usable in four to six weeks.
