Campos and Michael Alvarez finished first and second in their age groups at the Good Earth Race in Sabine Canyon Tucson. More than 800 runners competed as Campos placed 14-19 winner and fourth overall with 17:17.6 for 3.1 miles, Alvarez notched 18:22 for second in his age group and 12th overall.
Hidalgo County Manager Tom Anderson says work on Playas Road will start within days. A S Construction of Albuquerque leads the base road project costing 1.172 million dollars and due in 120 working days. Paving at Glen Acres to start immediately by Turner Roac Co. of Albuquerque costs about 130000 dollars. County crews have prepped the road and installed culverts.
The Lordsburg Municipal Schools Board of Education will hold a regular meeting on Tuesday November 7 at 7 00 PM in the Board Room Lordsburg New Mexico.
