Juveniles Held For Burglary In Wa bash
Two local juvenile boys ages 12 and 13 were picked up Monday morning in connection with the break in at Craft Builders Supply on Wa bash and Main Streets. A 22 caliber pistol and 14 boxes of ammunition were reported stolen. The same night an attempt to break into Slick's Sporting and Package Goods failed. The youths admitted the break in and an earlier car theft near Fourth and Shakespeare, with a 15 year old runaway from a Phoenix detention home later captured after a high speed chase.

Justo Esquivel Dies After Mine Accident
Justo Valenzuela Esquivel, 62, died Saturday October 27 from injuries at Henry Clay Mine after being drawn into a power saw while cutting timbers. He was born in Jalisco Mexico and lived in Lordsburg 34 years. Rosary was Monday and Requiem Mass Tuesday at St. Josephs Catholic Church. Survivors include his wife Maria Montes Esquivel, two daughters, three sons, and twenty three grandchildren. Pallbearers named. Burial in Shakespeare Cemetery.

CPS Receives Fleet Safety Award in Chicago
